   "Chrissie" is behind my sable line.  She has laid a solid foundation here at Woodland Farm.  She was the consummate show dog and definitely one of the "special" ones!

     "Mac" was one of those special dogs who was happy to do whatever you asked of him.  He loved agility and herding (or chasing!) :-) ducks and sheep!

     "Sunny" was a special boy who excelled in obedience and loved people!   I acquired him through rescue and unfortunately he had health problems.  He was a great therapy dog and lived to love and please.

    "Hope" comes down from my foundation bitch, Chrissy, through her mother. She
greatly helped carry on my line through her son Trey, daughter Fargo and great granddaughter Kissy. She was truly special and I will miss her every day.

 

     Ch Woodland Farms Hugs 'N Kisses was sired by Am/Can Ch Shelhaven Alaris  (sired by Can Ch Shelhaven Counterstrike ROMC X BISS BIS Am/Can Ch Laureate City Angel ROMC) X Woodland Farm Wayfarer Sojourn (a Trey daughter who was out of a Ch Brandina Direct Connect daughter who was also by Am/Can  CH Belcroft Easily Persuaded CD (TC son).

     Pictured at 6 mos, 1 day, Kissy started her show career with a Best in Sweeps win at the Western Mass SSC specialty show on May 10, 2008. Through her puppy career, Kissy went on to multiple specialty sweeps wins, specialty major reserve, Puppy Herding Group 1 and her first Winners Bitch.

Pictured below is Kissy as she restarted her show career as an adult on June 24, 2012.

 

 

     Kissy is pictured below winning two specialty majors at the KVSSC Specialty on August 31st, 2012 where she took BOW and again on September 2nd at DESSC Specialty taking Breed from the classes over 4 specials for a 5 point major.

Trey has joined both his parents at the bridge.

     "Trey" returned from his first show, the 2003 National, in Lansing, Michigan, where he placed 3rd in his quality-packed 9 - 12 mos. class.  "Trey" was shown by Kathy Dziegiel.

 

 

...At 23 months, "Trey" placed 2nd in the open sable class

 at the Canadian National handled by Rachel Pratt.

 

        

 

 

 

GCH Woodland Farms Jancada Trust     

 

"Trust"

 

 

     Am GCh Woodland Farms Jancada Trust was sired by Can Ch Shelhaven Counterstrike x Woodland Farms Funny Face.  He returned to live out his life with me when his co-owner, Marion Durholz, retired.  I brought him out of retirement at 10 and he attained his grand championship in only a few weekends.  He, too, has joined the "family" at the Bridge.

     Am/Can/UKC Ch Woodland Farms Touch of Blue was bred by me and co-owned with Priscilla Gardner in Michigan.  He was a lovely, moderate biblue sired by Ch Will O'Wisp Touch of Frost CD, OA, OAJ (Asterik son) X Logwood's Spring Song (Boy Scout granddaughter).  Marnie was the foundation bitch of my aoac line.
